EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's ice hockey teams teams have released their schedules for the 2022-23 season. 

Men's Schedule l Women's Schedule 

After ending the 2021-22 season 18-11-1, finishing second in conference, and being named WIAC Tournament Champions the UW-Eau Claire Men's Ice Hockey team is ready for another successful season. The Blugolds will kick off the 22-23 season with a home opening weekend at Hobbs Arena on November 4th and 5th against Saint John's and Gustavus Adolphus. The squad has a competitive non-conference schedule that include St. Norbert, Augsburg, Bethel, and St. Olaf. The Blugolds will host 11 home games at Hobbs Arena this season. They will wrap up conference play at home February 10th and 11th against UW-Stout. 

The Women's Ice Hockey team looks back on a successful 2021-22 season with a record of 23-6, competing in the WIAC tournament championship, and finishing second overall in the WIAC. The Blugolds received a bid to the NCAA Tournament where they fell to Gustavus Adolphus in the first round of play. The team is excited to start the 22-23 season with a home opener on October 22nd against Bethel University. There will be a home series against Concorida-Moorhead (Minn.) December 9th and 10th at Hobbs Arena. Aside from their division 3 competition, they will take on the division one Minnesota State-Mankato Mavericks at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center on Monday. November 14th.
