The Wausau, Wis., native played a key role in helping the Blugolds secure the Wisconsin Intercolliage Athletic Association title for the first time since 2006. In a week where the Blugolds went 8-0, including a 6-0 record in conference play, Fischer finished with nine hits, which included three homers, one triple and one double, and had a team-high 14 RBI.

Against UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, she hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the third in both games, and the Blugolds went on to win game one 10-3 and game two 10-6. She also hit a home run against UW-Superior on Monday, a game the Blugolds won 4-2. For the week, Fischer finished with 10 runs and 21 total bases for a slugging percentage of .913.
