Men's Tennis Falls to St. Thomas on Fourth Day of Spring Break

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team played a number of close matches but ended up falling 7-2 to the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) on the fourth day of its Spring Break trip today.

The Blugolds picked up two singles victories.

In the No. 1 spot, Chris Kuna (Sr.-Edina, Minn.) won 7-5, 6-1 while Michael Roden (Fr.-Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial) won 7-5, 6-4 at No. 6. Roden is undefeated on Spring Break and has won six out of his last seven singles matches.

Eau Claire is now 13-4 on the season.

Thursday the Blugolds will close their Spring Break trip as they compete against Carleton College (Minn.). Action will get underway at 12:30 p.m. Eastern.
