Men's Golf Takes Second at Bobby Krig Invitational

JORDAN, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire men's golf team came in second place out of 15 teams following three rounds over two days at the Bobby Krig Invitational, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.).

Results

Eau Claire finished with 921 strokes while Saint John's University (Minn.) won with 917.

Eric Hagstrom (So.-Middleton, Wis.) was the top Blugold finisher as he took third with 223 strokes. He competed at tournament as an individual.

Three other Blugolds finished tied for 11th place or better.

Ben Brooks (Sr.-Beaver Dam, Wis.) tied for sixth with 226 strokes, Brady Hanson (Fr.-Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge) tied for ninth with 228 strokes and Joey Dreier (Fr.-New London, Minn.) tied for 11th with 230 strokes.

Tyler McMorrow from Gustavus led the field of 87 golfers, winning with 221 strokes.

This Saturday and Sunday the Blugolds will compete at the Saint John's University Invitational.
