PLATTEVILLE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire women's outdoor track & field team competed at the UW-Platteville Invitational on Saturday and won two events.

Results

On the track, Sydney Pretasky (Fr.-La Crosse, Wis./Central) won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:01.69.

In the field, Julia Stedman (So.-Maplewood, Minn./North St. Paul) took first place in the triple jump with a distance of 11.27 meters (36-11.75).

The Blugolds had six other top-three finishes.

Next weekend the Blugolds will compete at the Phil Esten Challenge at UW-La Crosse. Multi events will get underway Thursday while the rest of the meet will be contested Friday.
