Women's Tennis Drops First Match of the Season to Gustavus

ST. PETER, Minn. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis team was on the road again, Friday evening. The Blugolds looked to keep their three-match win streak alive as they took on Gustavus Adolphus College. With both teams coming into the match undefeated, only one would prevail. Eau Claire could not keep up with the Gusties, losing all nine matches in a 0-9 sweep.

Alexa Brooks (Jr. - Beaver Dam, WI) kept things a close at No. 4 singles falling 6-4 in both games.

Sydney Presler (So. - Eau Claire, WI/Altoona) earned a tiebreaker in her second set but would end up with a 4-0 loss to fall 6-2 and 7-6.
