Two Titles Highlight Blugolds' Time at 2014 NCAA Indoor Championships
March 15, 2014LINCOLN, Neb. (Blugolds.com) – Thurgood Dennis (Jr.-Allouez, Wis./Green Bay Notre Dame) captured two national titles to lead the UW-Eau Claire men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams at the 2014 NCAA Division III Championships, hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. In team results, the Blugold men finished in second place with 48 points and the women tied for 23rd with eight points.

(Blugolds.com) - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced its award winners for the 2014 men's indoor track & field season based on voting by the league coaches. Blugold Thurgood Dennis (Jr.-Allouez, Wis./Green Bay Notre Dame) earned the Track Performer of the Meet from the WIAC championship, while UW-Eau Claire's Brandon Zarnoth (Jr.-Appleton, Wis./North) received the Field Performer of the Meet plaque.
