EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's hockey team will begin its 2023-24 season in late October. The Blugolds will look to build off a stellar 2022-23, a season in which they tallied a 22-4-2 record.

2023-24 Women's Hockey Schedule

After an Oct. 21 scrimmage with Bethel, the Blugolds will open their season with a two-game series against St. Benedict on Oct. 27-28 at Hobbs Ice Arena. UW-Eau Claire will be at Hobbs often early in the season, playing five of its first seven games at home. That includes its Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) opener against Northland on Nov. 10.

The Blugolds travel east in late November to participate in the Panther/Cardinal Classic in Middlebury, Vt. UW-Eau Claire's tournament opener is against Plattsburgh St. (a national semifinalist last season) on Nov. 25.

UW-Eau Claire plays twice in December, with both games on the road in Minnesota. They return home in early January for three straight home contests. Overall, five of their first six games in 2024 are at Hobbs. After a home game with UW-Stevens Point on Jan. 19, the Blugolds are on the road for six straight games before closing the season with a home game against UW-River Falls on Feb. 17.
