Stackpool to lead Women's Golf Program

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (www.blugolds.com) - University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Athletic Director Jason Verdugo has announced Cade Stackpool as the Blugolds' ninth coach in program history.

"I'm excited for Cade to take an active leadership role within our women's golf program," said Verdugo. "Cade is passionate about golf, but more importantly, he's committed to working with our student-athletes to provide a first-class experience in the upcoming season."

"I want to thank Jason and the entire UWEC Athletics administration for showing belief in me to lead this program," Stackpool said. "I'm excited for the new opportunity and am looking forward to helping these student-athletes find success on the course and in the classroom."

In addition to leading the Women's Golf program, Stackpool will retain his duties as assistant men's basketball coach under Matt Siverling. During his time with the Blugolds, UWEC men's basketball has posted three winning seasons and helped the Blugolds reach the NCAA tournament in the 2019-20 season.
