EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The 54th team in University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's basketball history will tip off its season in November. The Blugolds, fresh off back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Tournament, return to the court this winter looking to continue the program's strong run of success.

2023-24 Women's Basketball Schedule

UW-Eau Claire will be at home to start its season. The Blugolds host their annual Tip Off Tournament on Nov. 10-11, taking on Puget Sound on Nov. 10 and Central College (Iowa) on Nov. 11. UW-Stout will also participate in the tournament.

After the Tip Off Tournament, the Blugolds are on the road for the rest of November. They visit Bethel (Minn.), St. Norbert and Wartburg. Both St. Norbert and Wartburg made the NCAA Tournament last season.

UW-Eau Claire has just one home game in December: a Dec. 1 meeting with Bethany Lutheran at Zorn Arena. The Blugolds are on the road the rest of the month, visiting Wisconsin Lutheran, UW-Superior and Northwestern-St. Paul. They close out the 2023 calendar year by traveling to Lexington, Kentucky, to participate in the Transylvania Holiday Classic, hosted by the defending national champions.

Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) play begins on Jan. 3, when UW-Eau Claire takes on UW-Platteville on the road. Three days later, the Blugolds have their home conference opener against UW-Whitewater. Five of the team's first eight conference contests are at home. In addition to UW-Whitewater, the Blugolds have UW-River Falls (Jan. 10), UW-La Crosse (Jan. 20), UW-Oshkosh (Jan. 24) and UW-Platteville (Jan. 31) at home in January. They host UW-Stout (Feb. 10) and UW-Stevens Point (Feb. 14) in February.

UW-Eau Claire is hosting Parents Night on Dec. 1, Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night on Jan. 10, Alumni Day on Jan. 20, Youth Night on Jan. 24, Cancer Awareness Night on Jan. 31 and Senior Night/Fast Break Club Appreciation on Feb. 14.
