Kim Wagers begins her eighth season as the women’s basketball assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2019-2020. It is her sixth season as recruiting coordinator and associate camp director. Wagers also serves as an assistant sports information director for Blugold Athletics. 

The Blugolds finished off their 2018-2019 season  with a 4-10 WIAC record, and a 13-12 record overall. 

Wagers was formerly an assistant coach for basketball and volleyball at UW-Superior from 2009-2011.

Wagers is originally from Moose Lake, MN, and she attended the University of Minnesota Duluth where she played basketball for four years. Kim was named to the North Central Conference Academic Honor Roll selection two times and was a captain her senior year. She graduated from UMD in 2008, with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a minor in psychology. At Moose Lake High School, Kim was an outstanding basketball and volleyball player. In basketball she scored over 1,000 points and also recorded over 1,000 rebounds. She earned All-Polar League honors three times and was a four year starter. In volleyball, Kim was a three-time all-conference selection as a middle hitter and was a member of the Minnesota All-State volleyball team.
