Sally Linzmeier enters her first season as UW-Eau Claire's assistant women's basketball coach in 2023-24. Linzmeier is originally from Valders, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She participated in basketball, softball and soccer and majored in Secondary Math Education with a Spanish minor. She helped the basketball team win the first conference title in school history in her senior season. During her career she was a two time All-American and Player of the Year for the WIAC. In 2022, she had the honor of being inducted into UW-Superior’s Hall of Fame. Sally has spent the last seven years coaching and teaching for Chippewa Falls High School, and has also previously worked with the Blugolds from 2019-2021. She is continuing to teach high school math while joining the Blugolds in her first season as the assistant coach.
