Abigail Place enters her first year as the Assistant Softball Coach at UW-Eau Claire in 2021-22. 

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire announces the hiring of Abbey Place as softball's assistant coach after Robin Baker steps down from her 20 years of coaching at UW-Eau Claire.

Place steps into the role as assistant coach after her four years as a Blugold starter. With 119 hits, 76 RBI's, six home runs, and a career batting average of .337, Abbey has been a staple in the UW-Eau Claire softball program and will continue to demonstrate what it means to be a Blugold.
