Doug Roseth enters his second season on the UW-Eau Claire tennis staff during the 2022-23 season.

Prior to UWEC, Roseth served as the head coach of the Lakeville South High School boy’s tennis program for 5 years in Lakeville, MN. During his time with the Cougars, Roseth gathered 75 team in 5 years and elevated the team to be ranked consistently in the top ten in state.  As a volunteer assistant coach from 2017-2019, the team qualified for a State berth in 2019 which was the first time a boys or girls team from Lakeville South ever advanced to the team state tournament. Individually, Lakeville South had two players being ranked in the top ten in singles three straight years along with a 2nd and 3rd place finish in state in the state doubles tournament.

In his playing days, Doug played #1 singles at Lakeville High School finishing 3rd in the section his senior year.  After High School, he played #1 & 2 singles for two years at Minnesota State-Mankato and finished up his career playing at the University of St. Thomas being named  MIAC All-Conference recipient at 4th Singles. After college he played on 11 National qualifying teams.  He played 1st Doubles on the 1995 Men’s 4.5 team which won Nationals.

Doug has been married to Sara since 1997 and has 3 sons, Chase, Hunter & Caden. He has been a Mortgage Banker since 1995.
