EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - Just one UW-Eau Claire Athletics team was in action today, women's golf, hosting the 2014 Doug Georgianni Memorial Invitational to open the season.
The women's golf team finished in eighth place out of 15 teams after two rounds of competition. The Blugolds completed the tournament with 667 strokes after shooting 326 on day one at Wild Ridge Golf Course, followed by 341 on day two at Mill Run Golf Course. Two Blugolds finished in the top 15, led by Kate Engler with 160 strokes, tied for 11th place.
