NEW ORLEANS, LA (blugolds.com) - The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced the 2021 Track & Field All-Academic Awards on Thursday. After team national placements by both University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's track & field teams, the Blugolds received team academic honors as well as multiple All-Academic athlete awards.
USTFCCCA Release and Award Criteria
The women's team recorded a team grade-point average of 3.569 along with their 10th place finish at the NCAA Championships. The men finished were the NCAA Champion runners-up and posted a 3.214 gpa.
With over 1,000 athletes recognized for the academic excellence, 41 UW-Eau Claire athletes were met the criteria while competing at the highest level of competition during a pandemic year. See the full list of Blugolds below:
