    NEW ORLEANS, LA (blugolds.com) - The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced the 2021 Track & Field All-Academic Awards on Thursday. After team national placements by both University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s and women’s track & field teams, the Blugolds received team academic honors as well as multiple All-Academic athlete awards.

  • Blugold Men Finish 2nd, Women 10th at NCAA Outdoor Championships

    GREENSBORO, NC (blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s and women’s track & field teams completed the final day of the 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship with a second-place team finish for the men and a 10th place finish for the women. The Blugolds added 14 All-Americans on the final day for a final total of 21 athletes receiving the prestigious honor.
  • Weaver Earns Champion Status Twice in Day Two of NCAA Outdoor Championships

    GREENSBORO, NC (blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s and women’s track & field teams were back at Irwin Belk Track on the campus of North Carolina A&T State for day two of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Marcus Weaver (So. – Lewiston, MN/Lewiston-Altura) stole the show with a record-breaking win in the javelin and a strong finish to his decathlon victory.

    GREENSBORO, NC (Blugolds.com) – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) inducted the NCAA Division III Track & Field Athlete Hall of Fame Class of 2021 on Wednesday night, with Blugold throws coach Paul Conlin being honored in the four-member class.

    NEW ORLEANS – Regional Athletes and Coaches of the Year for the 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season were announced on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Marcus Weaver (So. – Lewiston, MN/Lewiston-Altura) and Megan Wallace (Sr. – Burlington, WI) both earned Midwest Region Field Athletes of the Year.

(blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s and women’s outdoor track & field squads continued their 2021 season on Friday with athletes competing at the UW-La Crosse Last Chance Meet and the North Central College Dr. Keeler Invitational. After a successful championship, a week prior, the Blugolds continued their performances with top three placements throughout the day.

  • Track & Field Competes At Day 1 Of WIAC Championships

    RIVER FALLS, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s and women’s outdoor track & field teams traveled to UW-River Falls for Day 1 of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships. Five Blugolds recorded personal best scores with both squads currently sitting in 2nd place overall.

    WAVERLY, Iowa (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s and women’s outdoor track & field teams traveled to Iowa for the Wartburg Friday Night Lights meet. The men’s team came in 2nd place out of 5 teams with a team score of 187. The women compiled a team score of 140.5 and placed 4th out of 5 teams.

    WHITEWATER, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s and women’s outdoor track & field teams competed at the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative meet on Friday and Saturday, April 23rd and 24th. After posting record breaking scores by multiple individuals a week ago, the Blugolds would continue their success with 15 event winners on the weekend.

(Blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Marcus Weaver (So. - Lewiston, MN/Lewiston-Altura), Megan Wallace (Sr. - Burlington, WI), Morgan Sivak (Sr. - Oconomowoc, WI), and Morgan Nelson (Fr. - Beaver Dam, WI) have been named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week, as was announced by Assistant Commissioner of Media Relations Matt Stanek.

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Megan Wallace (Sr. - Burlington, WI) and Marcus Weaver (So. - Lewiston, MN/Lewiston-Altura) were named as NCAA Division III Athletes of the Week.
  • Men's and Women's Track & Field Dominate At Ashton-Esten Invite

    LA CROSSE, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s and women’s outdoor track & field teams competed in the UW-La Crosse Ashton-Esten Invite on Friday and Saturday. After two days of competitions, both Blugold squads earned 2nd place honors. The men finished with 152.5 points and the women finished with 168.5 points. Individually, UWEC had 24 event champions combined.

    RIVER FALLS, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s and women’s outdoor track & field teams started their 2021 season on Saturday in River Falls, WI. After having their season cancelled a year ago, the Blugolds placed well with 35 top-3 finishes on the day.

  • Women's 50th Anniversary: Gymnastics

    The women’s gymnastics program is one of the first sports that was offered to women at the varsity level at UW-Eau Claire. The program began in 1969 and was led by Blugold Pioneer, Mary Mero, who would guide the Blugolds for 21 seasons.
