Fuchs and Nelson Earn WIAC Athletes of the Week

MADISON, Wis. (blugolds.com)--University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Samantha Fuchs (So. - Deforest, WI) and Morgan Nelson (Jr. - Beaver Dam) have been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Women's Tennis Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 5 - 11.

WIAC Release

Samantha Fuchs (So., DeForest, Wis./DeForest) and Morgan Nelson (Jr., Beaver Dam, Wis./Beaver Dam) entered their match against UW-Stevens Point on Sept. 10, playing at No. 1 doubles for the first time together. The duo posted an 8-7 (10-8) tiebreaker win. Fuchs improved to 2-0 in No. 1 doubles, while Nelson has a 1-0 mark at No. 1 doubles.
