Despite falling in the first contest 6-3, the Blugolds bounced back with a 7-2 victory over Luther for a weekend split.

After a second-place finish in the regular season, UW-Eau Claire placed second with 54 total points and 12 championship points. Samantha Fuchs (Fr. – DeForest, WI), Alexa Brooks (Sr. – Beaver Dam, WI), Clare Palen (So. – Rochester, MN/Lourdes), and Morgan Nelson (So. – Beaver Dam, WI) all earned championship honors in singles or doubles play.

(blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women’s tennis team began Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) on Friday as they hosted their first home match of the year against UW-Whitewater. Despite taking a 2-1 lead after doubles play, the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds fell to the UW-Whitewater Warhawks, 3-6.
  • Mayo Clinic Health System named sports medicine provider for UWEC Athletics

    EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Beginning with the 2021 fall sports season, the Mayo Clinic Health System has been named the new provider of sports medicine services for University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Athletics. Clinical staff from the Mayo Clinic Health System Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Department will provide services including sideline support, radiology, concussion management, procedures and surgical care, physical therapy and rehabilitation for Blugold athletes on all 25 men's and women's athletic teams.
