MADISON, Wis.--The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) announced the 2021 women's tennis All-Conference teams on Thursday. Of the 24 spots receiving honors, eight of them were held by Blugolds.
UW-Eau Claire was represented well in the second team honors. Emily Cooper (Jr. – White Bear, MN/Mahtomedi), Alexa Brooks (Jr. – Beaver Dam, WI), Morgan Nelson (Fr. – Beaver Dam), and Sydney Presler (So. – Eau Claire, WI/Altoona) were all recognized for their singles play throughout the year.
In the doubles' recognition, Cooper and Brooks were honored at the No. 2 spot, while Nelson and Natalie Girard (Jr. – Kenosha, WI/St. Joseph) earned the No. 3 spot on the second team.
