Kabe and Dahlk Finish Strong at NCAA Diving Zones

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (blugolds.com) This weekend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's men and women's diving teams competed at the NCAA diving zones at Calvin College.

1 Meter Men l 1 Meter Women l 3 Meter Men l 3 Meter Women 

The Blugolds had 2 athletes qualify in both the 1-meter diving and 3-meter diving. On the men's side Martin Kocher (Jr.- St. Paul, MN/Johnson) placed 11th in the 3-Meter Dive with a score of 432.35 and Quincy Kabe (So.-Buffalo, MN) placed 17th with a score of 402.35. On the women's side Sarah Dahlk  (Sr.- Verona, WI- Middleton) placed 9th with a score of 388.95. That score makes Dahlk an unofficial qualifier for the NCAA Championships.

In 1-Meter Diving Sarah Dahlk placed 19th with a score of 340.85. Quincy Kabe placed 8th in the 1-meter dive with a score of 426.15. Kabe's performance also makes him an unofficial qualifier for the NCAA Championships.
