Record Breaking Weekend for Blugold Swim and Dive

ROCHESTER, Minn (blugolds.com) - The Univeristy of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's swimming and diving teams traveled to Rochester, MN this weekend for the Rochester Invitational. The Blugolds found great success this weekend breaking long standing school records. 

Senior Hans Hover broke a 20 and 23-year-old record for the 100 Fly and 200 Free with times of 48.24/1:40.24. Michael BylanderIan OlsonHans Hover, and Alex Jorgenson defeated the 23-year-old record for the 200 Medley with a time of 1:30.43. Ben Keller (So.- Cedarburg,WI) set a new school record for the 400 IM with a time of 4:02.26. Quincy Kabe (So.- Buffalo,MN) hit zone qualifying scores this weekend on boith the 1M and 3M(484). 

Sydney McColler was the top finisher for the women's team in the 500, 200 free and 1650 free races. McColler was also apart of all five relays this weekend. Diver Sarah Dahlk (Sr. Verona, WI) was the top finisher for the Blugolds on the 1M(351.95) and 3M(402.15). Both scores are WIAC concerfence leading scores.

100-Yard Butterfly: Hans Hover (48.44)

400-Yard IM: Ben Keller (4:02.26)

200-Yard Butterfly: Sam Ryf (1:53.49)

3 Meter Diving: Quincy Kabe (484.00)
