Women's Swimming & Diving Team Earns Academic Honor

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire women's swimming & diving team was recently honored by being named to the 2011 College Swimming Coaches Association of America's Scholar All-America Team for the fall semester.

The Blugold women combined for a team GPA of 3.09 last fall to earn the recognition. They joined just 130 other Division III teams from around the country to receive the honor.

The Team Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams which achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented to teams achieving this standard in the fall semester and in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (Winter/Spring).
