KANSAS CITY, Mo. (blugolds.com) – United Soccer Coaches has announced the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer program earned the honor with their hard work in the classroom during the 2021 season.
The Blugolds were one of the 500 women's teams to receive the reward with their cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.49. UW-Eau Claire was also one of the six Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schools to earn the award along with UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Platteville, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Whitewater.
This marks the 18th season the Blugolds have collected this award (2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021).
