Women's Hockey earns spot in NCAA tournament

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's hockey team earned their fourth consecutive NCAA appearance on Sunday night, as the Blugolds claimed one of three at-large bids into the 10-team tournament.

NCAA Release

The Blugolds (23-5) will travel to St. Peter, Minn. to take on the Gustavus Adolphus Golden Gusties in the First Round on Wednesday, March 9th at 7 p.m. Gustavus (22-3-2) earned an automatic bid after winning the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) tournament championship.
  
The quarterfinal games will be played March 12th with the semifinals, third place and championship taking place March 18th-19th.
