No. 3 Women's Hockey falls to Green Knights

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The No. 3 University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's hockey team fell to St. Norbert College on Saturday night by a score of 2-1.

After a scoreless first period, the Green Knights tallied two goals, the first on the powerplay, to take a 2-0 lead into the final frame.

In the third, Eau Claire out-shot St. Norbert 20-1, but could not find the back of the net until  Hanna Zavoral (Sr.- St. Paul, MN/Highland Park) scored the lone Blugold goal off an assist from Addie Young (Sr. – Superior, WI) at 19:49. For the game, the Blugolds out-shot the Green Knights 42-17.

Kylah Krause (Jr. - Belleview, IL/East) took the loss in net, recording 17 saves while falling to 2-1-0 on the season.
