Blugolds Take Fifth at the Viking Invitational

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team traveled to Rock Island, Illinois for the second day of the Viking Invitational. The Blugolds took fifth place after two rounds with a team score of 673.

Results

Holly Carlson (So.-Ellsworth, WI) finished first for the Blugolds scoring an 81 in both rounds. That score puts Carlson in 9th place on the individual leaderboard. The Blugolds had two more athletes place in the top 25. Cadie Ash (So.- Waupaca, WI) had a total score of 168 after two rounds putting her in 16th place overall. With a score of 170, Megan Glaeser (Sr.-Freedom, WI/Fox Valley Lutheran) took 22nd place.
