Carlson Starts Strong at Viking Invitational

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team traveled to Rock Island, Illinois for the Viking Invitational. The Blugolds are in fifth place after round one with a team score of 340. 

Results 

The Blugolds scored an average score in the first round of 85 at the Highland Springs Golf Course. Holly Carlson (So.-Ellsworth, WI) led the pack in tenth place overall with a score of 81. Cadie Ash (So.- Waupaca, WI) made it in the top 20 individually scoring a 84. 

The Blugolds will take on day two of the Viking Invitational tomorrow, May 1st. Follow the Blugolds all season long on Blugold Game Day or on the UWEC Blugolds app.
