CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (blugolds.com) - The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) released WGCA All-American Scholars team for the 2020-21 season last week. Out of the 1,432 student-athletes recognized, six of them were Blugolds.
Cadie Ash (Fr. – Waupaca, WI), Holly Carlson (Fr. – Ellsworth, WI), Megan Crawford (So. – Forest Lake, MN), Julia Hayden (So. – Mondovi, WI/Durand), Lexi Meade (So. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial), and Jessica Rudnicki (Sr. – Sun Prairie, WI) were all named to the All-American Scholar Team and the UW-Eau Claire Women's Golf team led the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) with the most honorees.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
The Blugolds finished their spring season with two 1st place finishes and earned 4th at the WIAC Championship.
