Swift Earns WIAC Athlete of Week Honors

MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – UW-Eau Claire women's golfer Emily Swift (Sr.-Onalaska, Wis.) has been named a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Athlete of the Week, WIAC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Matt Stanek announced today.

Swift helped lead the Blugolds to a second-place finish at the Division III Midwest Classic at The Jewel Golf Club in Lake City, Minn. She recorded 155 strokes to tie for second place overall with teammate Sara Mattes. During the second round of competition, she had 76 strokes, the third-best total of the day.
