EAU CLAIRE, WI (blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's cross country teams hosted their annual Alumni Open on Saturday at the Eau Claire City Municipal Well Fields. Both squads won their respective races with the men totaling 25 points and the women tallying 24 points.

Alumni Lexi Tremble ('19) and Christian Leitner ('15) ran the fastest times in both races.
Connor Dolan (Sr. – Nekoosa, WI/Assumption) was the men's 8k third place finisher with a time of 26:05. Mason Shea (So. – River Falls, WI) and Jake Petri (Sr. – Cottage Grove, MN/East Ridge) were the next two highest placements in the 8k.
In the women's 6k, Katie Faris (Chippewa Falls, WI) was the runner up with a time of 23:59. Kylie Judd (Jr. – Anchorage, AK/AJ Diamond) and Julia Karls (Jr. – St. Cloud, MN) rounded out the top five finishers with fourth and fifth placements. Both runners finished in 24-minutes flat.
The Blugolds will head back to training until their next meet on Saturday, September 18th. Both teams will head to St. Peter, MN for the St. Olaf Invitational. The men start their race at 10 AM and the women start at 11 AM.
