Women 2nd, Men 3rd at WIAC Indoor Championships

PLATTEVILLE, WI– Competing in the WIAC Indoor Championships, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's track teams capped off a strong regular season with a good showing against the best of the WIAC. The men's team took 3rd overall, scoring 110.33 points, while the women's team placed 2nd overall, scoring 115 points. The meet champions were UW-Oshkosh on the men's side with 172 points and UW-La Crosse on the women's side, scoring 244 points. Jordan Lijewski (Sr. - Roseville, MN/Roseville Area) was named the WIAC Max Sparger Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the 2021-2022 Indoor Track season, recognized for his accomplishments on and off the track.
