PLATTEVILLE, WI (blugolds.com). The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's soccer team traveled to face off against UW-Platteville on Saturday. The Blugolds secured a statement 3-1 win in their last game of the regular season.
Carter Thiesfeld (Fr.- Forest Lake, MN) led the stat line for the Blugolds with 1 goal and 2 assists on the afternoon. Matt Folden (Fr.- St. Croix, MN/Stillwater) & Will Heinen (Fr.-Champlin, MN) tallied the other goals on the day during the second half of regulation. The road win moves the Blugolds to 8-3 in away matches and a 15-4 overall record.
The first season for the Blugold men's soccer team was filled with victory and ended the regular season on a high note.
