EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's soccer schedule has been officially announced for the inaugural 2021 season.
The first game in program history will take place at Hamline (Minn.) on September 1st. A few days later, the Blugolds will travel to Dubuque, Iowa, to square off against Loras on the 3rd.
Eau Claire's home opener will be on September 6th against Bethany Lutheran at Simpson Field. "September 6th is a date all Blugolds should have on the Calendar as we kick off at 7:00 under the lights and cannot wait to show everyone what we are building," says Head Coach Casey Holm.
The Blugolds will also be hosts to Northland (Sep. 14), Ripon (Sep. 22), St. Mary's (Sep. 25), Augsburg (Oct. 5), UW-Whitewater (Oct. 16), Finlandia (Oct. 20) and Grinnell (Oct. 24).
"The first half of the season will be a massive test for us with most games on the road. As we enter the second half of the season it will be exciting to see what lessons we learned and can apply, with most of our games being played at home," explains Holm.
The 17-game regular season schedule will wrap up with UW-Platteville on the road on November 6th.
