HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fl. (blugolds.com) Cole Jahnke (Sr.-Stillwater, MN), a member of the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire men's golf team, traveled to compete as an individual in this years Division 3 Men's Golf Championships. Jahnke finished 6th place overall after 4 rounds with a final score of 291 (72,74,72,73).
Cole kept his spot in the top 15 throughout all four days of play at the championships. The 6th place finish is the best individual performance at NCAA Nationals by a Blugold since 2001. The Blugold went into the tournament being ranked 37th overall with an average score of 73.46 over 24 rounds. Cole will end the 2021-22 season with five top 10 finishes for the Blugolds.
