Jahnke Selected to Compete at 2022 NCAA Championships

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) The NCAA has announced the teams and individuals selected to participate in the 2022 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships. The championships will be held May 10-13 at Mission Inn Resort and Club, in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida and will be hosted by Oglethorpe and Greater Orlando Sports Commission. Forty-three teams and six individuals were selected to participate in the championships. The Blugolds own, Cole Jahnke (Sr.-Stillwater, MN) was one out the six individuals selected to compete at the National Tournament. 

Jahnke led UW-Eau Claire men's golf team through a successful season. He finished with two top ten finishes and two top 25 finishes. Cole has an adjusted score average of 73.94 this season and is currently ranked 52nd for men's division III players. The senior has had a significant career as a Blugold, this will be his first time competing at the NCAA National Tournament. Jahnke will be the sole athlete representing the WIAC at this years Championships. 

The action will begin on May 10th at the Mission Inn Resort and Club. Follow the Blugolds all season long on Blugold Game Day or on the UWEC Blugolds app.
