Blugolds Place Third at the Bobby Krig Invitational

NEW PRAGUE, MINN. (blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team traveled to the LeSueur Country Club for the Bobby Krig Invitational. The Blugolds placed third out 10 schools with an overall team score of 310. 

Results

The Blugolds had three players place in the top 15 for their overall scores. Owen Covey (Fr.-New Richmond, WI) led Eau Claire in fourth place with a four over 75 in the cold windy conditions. Mason Gardner (Sr.-Waupaca, WI) contributed with a 76, while Carson Brock (So.- Onalaska, WI/Holmen) shot a 77 with three birdies. UW-Eau Claire has now placed in the top five in their past two tournaments.
