NORMAL, IL (blugolds.com) The UW-Eau Claire Men's Golf team traveled to the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational for their first competition of the spring. The Blugolds earned a 6^th place finish out of 25 teams. The Blugolds had two players place in the top 20 for their individual scores.

Results

UW-Eau Claire finished the Invitational with a final team score of 609 putting them in 6^th place overall. The Blugolds finished in the top 10 for Pars (105), Par 3s (+12), Par 4s (+40), and Par 5s (+2).

Individually, Cole Jahnke (Sr.- Stillwater, MN) finished 7^th overall with a score of 146. Jahnke in the individual leader board scored 23 for Pars and totaled six birdies. The Blugolds Corey Boerner (So.- Bloomington, MN/Kennedy) placed 14^th out of 131 with a score of 151 over the two days of competition.
