Day one results

Windy conditions and a few days of heavy rain created difficult course play at Ironwood Golf Course but the Blugolds were stil able to turn in strong performances.

Brady Hanson (Jr.-Woodbury, MN/East Ridge) leads the Blugolds after shooting a 74, putting him in a tie for 15th place. Joey Dreier (Jr.-New London, WI) and Phillip Johnson (Fr.-Eagan, MN) followed with both shooting a 76, tying for 29th.

"I'm proud the Blugolds were able drop a few birdies today because they were able to accept the challenge weather brought," said head coach Courtney Everett. "I know we can find a better rhythm tomorrow despite winds expecting to reach about 30 mph."
