Dunn Joining Blugold Football as Offensive Coordinator

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire football team has announced the hiring of Bob Dunn as the team's Offensive Coordinator.

Dunn joins the Blugold staff after coaching at Northern Michigan for one year. His short stint with the Wildcats as their quarterback coach included a year of progression through the passing game with improvements in many statistical categories from the year prior and ended the 2022 season ranked 2nd in the GLIAC in QB efficiency.

Bob is no stranger to the Wisconsin football scene as he served as the Quarterbacks Coach at UW-Platteville in the spring of 2022.

Prior to UW-Platteville, Dunn was heavily involved in UW-Madison football and their success from 2015-2022 under former head coach, Paul Chryst. During the 2015 season, Dunn began as a Recruiting and Coaches' Assistant where he assisted in the development of a recruiting database and evaluation systems. From 2016-2017, Bob served as a Student Assistant Coach that found him communicating plays to the quarterbacks during games and creating scouting reports. In 2018, he continued at Madison participating in a Graduate Assistantship with the football team while studying Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. He specialized in working with the Badger quarterbacks. In 2021, he was promoted to Quality Control Assistant while continuing his work with the quarterbacks.
