PITMAN, NJ (blugolds.com)--The New Jersey Athletic Conference has announced its men's tennis West Division weekly honors for the week ending Feb. 6.
Griffiths is named the first NJAC Men's Tennis West Division Player of the Week for the spring 2022 season. The sophomore went 3-0 at third singles and was a part of two doubles wins in the opening weekend. In an 8-1 team win over Bethel, Griffiths defeated Jacob Lukkarila 6-2, 6-1 after teaming up with Hunter Roseth for an 8-5 second doubles win over Lukkarila and Luke Wyly. In UWEC's team setback to North Central, Griffiths posted a win at third singles, defeating Guillermo Gonzalez 6-3, 6-1. Griffiths wrapped up the opening week with a 6-4, 6-7, 10-8 win over Luther College's Max Loen. He also partnered with Roseth at third doubles for an 8-1 win. The Blugolds won the match 5-4.
