Martin, Dahlk, and Weaver Tabbed WIAC Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week

MADISON, Wis.--University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Stephanie Martin (Sr. - Yorktown, VA/Tabb), Sarah Dahlk (Sr. - Verona, WI/Middleton), and Marcus Weaver (Jr. - Lewiston, MN/Lewiston-Altura) have been named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of Jan. 24 - Jan. 30.

Martin (Sr., G, Yorktown, Va./Tabb) gave up one goal during the week and posted a shutout in the Blugolds' 1-0 victory over UW-Stevens Point on Jan. 29. UW-Eau Claire also beat the Pointers 3-1 on Jan. 28, with the help of Martin's 21 saves. Martin has started 14 games this season and allowed 15 goals with a .949 saves percentage.

Weaver (Jr., Lewiston, Minn./Lewiston-Altura) set the NCAA Division III record in the heptathlon scoring 5,533 points at UW-Stout's Warren Bowlus Open held Jan. 28-29. His score is No. 1 in the WIAC and in the nation.

Dahlk (Sr., Verona, Wis./Middleton) won both boards in a dual meet against UW-Whitewater on Jan. 29. She achieved NCAA zone cuts on both the one-meter and three-meter boards. Dahlk broke a school record set 27 years ago for a dual meet score on the three-meter plank with a conference-leading score of 307.4.
