Meade Earns WIAC Athlete of the Week After Falcon Invite Championship

MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Lexi Meade (Jr. - Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) has been named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week, as was announced by Assistant Commissioner of Media Relations Matt Stanek.

WIAC Release

Meade was crowned medalist of the UW-River Falls Falcon Invitational held Oct. 1-2 at Clifton Highlands Golf Course in Prescott, Wis. She topped the field with a 156 (+12) over the two rounds. Meade was the only golfer under 80 in both rounds of the event, firing a 77 on the opening day and 79 the second day. UW-Eau Claire claimed the team title in the seven-team competition.
