The UWEC women won 1 event and battled extremely hard against their Division II opponent.  The men kept it really close to the Huskies the whole meet, winning a total of 8 events on the day.

Dylan Glumac-Berberich (Sr.—Fridley, MN) won both the 1- and 3-meter boards and once again got the NCAA zone cut on both boards. Collin Miller (Sr.—Rochester, MN/ Schaeffer Academy) won the 100-yard breaststroke, 50-yard breaststroke, and was a part of the winning 200-yard medley relay.

Michael Bylander (So.—Baxter, MN/ Brainerd) won the 50-yard back stroke, 100-yard backstroke, and was also a part of the winning 200-yard medley relay team.

"Our kids raced really tough after a really hard week of practice." Said Head Coach Annie Ryder, "We beat them up in the pool this week in preparation for our mid-season invite. We have had to rally on the women's side as a team with many out due to sickness and illness. They swam really well under the circumstances and I'm proud of their attitude and energy on deck. Our guys kept it really close to a division two men's team. Collin Miller had a huge split at the end of the 200 free relay and came from behind to win the relay. The guys competed and stepped up and had some really exciting races. This team is doing some really exciting things in practice and at meets and we are going to see some fast swimming come championship season."

The Blugolds are back in action Friday, November 15th at the St. Thomas Invite.
