Sullivan & Lefaive earn USSC Scholar All-Region honors

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Blugolds.com) – University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer players Sammie Lefaive (Sr. – Coon Rapids, MN) and Emily Sullivan (Jr. – Medina, MN/Wayzata) were named to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Scholar All-North/Central Region Teams.

USSC Release

Lefaive earned a spot on the Second Team with a 3.42 GPA. The Exercise Science & Biology major also earned First Team All-WIAC (Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) honors after recording 82 saves with a save percentage of .788 while finishing with a 9-7-2 record.
Sullivan, a management major, maintains a 3.30 GPA and was named to the Third Team. The junior also earned First Team All-WIAC honors for the second-straight season along with USSC All-Region honors after leading the Blugolds with 11 goals, including five game-winners, also a team-high.

The Blugolds wrapped up the season with an overall record 9-8-2 and WIAC record of 5-2-1.
