Women's Golf in 4th after Round 1 of WIAC Championships

REEDSBURG, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – After the first round of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team is in fourth place.

The Blugolds tallied a team score of 325 on Friday while UW-Stout is in first place with a 319.

Ashli Stolen (Jr. – Stoughton, WI) led Eau Claire, shooting a 79 and is in a tie for third place. Jessica Rudnicki (Fr. - Sun Prairie, WI) is also in the top 10, recording an 81 and is tied for 10th.

Allison Chomniak (Jr. – Pewaukee, WI/Arrrowhead) followed with an 82 (tied for 13th) while Molly Lattery (Sr. – Poplar, WI/Northwestern) and Megan Glaeser (Fr. – Freedom, WI/Fox Valley Lutheran) are tied for 16th after shooting an 83.

The Blugolds will start round two on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Reedsburg Country Club.
