Schwamberger named WIAC Coach of the Year

MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire head coach Dan Schwamberger was named the 2017 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year, based on voting conducted by the league coaches.

Schwamberger captured the coaching honor for the seventh time in his career after leading the Blugolds to the WIAC crown – the ninth in program archives. UW-Eau Claire also won the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional for the fifth time in school history and placed second at the NCAA Division III Championship.
