Volleyball to face UST at NCAA Regional

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire volleyball team will travel to St. Peter, Minn. for the NCAA Regional hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College. The Blugolds will face the University of St. Thomas on Friday at 3 p.m.

After capturing the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) regular season and tournament titles, 14th-ranked UW-Eau Claire earned the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA tournament.

The Blugolds and Tommies faced off twice already this season, with Eau Claire winning the first match-up on Sept. 8th 3-1 and St. Thomas taking the win in the second on Oct. 27, 3-2. The winner of Friday's match will face the winner of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps/Augsburg University match on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.  Follow the action on Blugold Game Day or on the 'UWEC Blugolds' app on your mobile device.
