The Blugolds seemed to be in control after their convincing first set victory of St. Olaf, however, would be met by a stiff rally from the Oles in set two. Eau Claire would go down early in the set due to a pair of aces by St. Olaf freshman Reni Erckson. Set two would only act as a brief equalizer, as the Blugold offense charged forward to finish out the match with convincing victories in each of the following two sets.

Keagan Kinsella (Jr.-  Chanhassen, Minn./Chanhassen) and Kelly Riesgraf (Sr.- Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest) led the team in kills, each with 15, while Talia Jaskulske (So.- Maplewood, North St. Paul) once again recorded a team-high 22 digs.

The high-flying Eau Claire offense carried their momentum into their last match of the tournament against Martin Luther. The Blugolds put together extended rallies during all three of their blowout sets. Hannah Theisen (Sr.- Rochester, Minn./Mayo) was the Blugold difference maker in this match, recording nine kills and 10.5 points.

After their undefeated weekend, sophomore Emily Miller (So.- Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake) gave her thoughts on the teams recent success, stating, "We have a ton of depth on our team this year, so we tried out a lot of rotations this weekend, and were successful in all of them."

Next up on the schedule for the Blugold volleyball team is a home-court matchup with Viterbo University on Wednesday in the McPhee Physical Education Center for student appreciation night.
