Women's Track & Field coaching staff earns WIAC honors

MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – After winning the program's first women's Indoor Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship, the Blugold women's coaching staff has been tabbed WIAC Coaching Staff of the Year.

In a vote of the league's coaches, UW-Eau Claire claimed the honor after leading the Blugolds to four individual titles during the two-day championship to win the team title. 

UW-Eau Claire's coaching staff includes: head coach Chip Schneider; assistant coaches Paul Conlin (throws); Seth Hoyer (sprints); Sarah Glidden (decathlon/heptathlon); Shawn McMahon (long/triple jump); Dan Schwamberger (distance); Marcie Schwamberger (distance); Roger Steen (throws) and Cory White (high jump/pole vault); and volunteer assistants Mic Hack (pole vault) and Will LaJeunesse (sprints/400).
